Breast surgery is performed for both benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) conditions of the breast. Depending on the specific needs of the patient, the surgery may be more or less invasive.
Endocrine surgery involves surgery on various endocrine organs in your body. Most commonly this includes the surgeries on the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands and adrenal glands. Endocrine surgery may be recommended for a range of conditions and symptoms, including cancer.
Breast Cancer Diagnosis?
Familial breast cancer accounts for only 5% of all breast cancers. The most well-known genes are BRCA1 and BRCA2. These genes result in a life-time risk of developing breast cancer of 60-80%
